WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY PROVIDER AND EMPLOYER

Dolores County Care and Share Food Pantry is an all-volunteer Colorado Nonprofit Corporation whose goal is to serve our community by providing perishable and non-perishable supplemental and emergency food and food services to support those hungry, homeless, and at-risk residents of the Southwest Colorado communities of Dolores County, Colorado and Egnar, located in San Miguel County, Colorado.
Our volunteers support the monthly food assistance programs and the seasonal Farmers Market held in Dolores County, Colorado.
According to the USDA, "Food deserts are defined as parts of the country vapid of fresh fruit, vegetables, and other healthful whole foods, usually found in impoverished areas. This is largely due to a lack of grocery stores, farmers’ markets, and healthy food providers."
Dolores County, Colorado has over 20% of its population living at or below poverty level.
